To address the problem of blind spots on the left side and rear of heavy vehicles, we have introduced a comprehensive vision solution. The solution covers a number of key components to ensure that the driver has a more comprehensive and accurate view while driving.

Firstly, an AI camera is installed at the rear roof position of the heavy vehicle, whose main purpose is to provide reversing assistance functions to detect and display pedestrians and vehicles behind the vehicle in a timely manner. This technology helps drivers to reduce potential risks and provides clearer visual guidance when reversing.

Secondly, another AI camera is installed on the left side of the heavy-duty vehicle, specifically designed to detect the left blind spot. This configuration provides additional safety when the vehicle is turning left or changing lanes, detecting the presence of pedestrians and vehicles on the left side in a timely manner, enabling the driver to make informed decisions.

To effectively present this important information, a two-way rear view monitor is installed in the cab. The display is capable of receiving visual information from the rear and sides, showing the driver images from the rear roof and left side AI cameras. With the split-screen display, the driver has access to information from both main directions at the same time, helping to provide a more comprehensive view of the vehicle’s surroundings.
